Winter Film Sessions at Nowhereland Tattoo! 🎬
This winter, we’re warming things up at Nowhereland Tattoo! We invite you to join us for cozy evenings of hot mulled wine, engaging tattoo talk, and fascinating film screenings dedicated to the art and culture of tattooing. It’s the perfect way to get to know each other better and embrace the season!

Our very first projection will be on Friday, November 28th!
We’ll begin with an introduction:
1. Oni: The Hidden Gem (Short Intro)
A quick, compelling look at the symbolic power of the Oni (Japanese Demon/Ogre) in the world of tattooing. Learn about its origins in Buddhist mythology and its duality as a symbol of evil, protection, and strength—the perfect starter for the deep dive into Japanese tattoo art.
2. Irezumi (The Spider Tattoo)
Year: 1966
Director: Yasuzô Masumura
This cult classic is a dark and erotic adaptation of a Junichirô Tanizaki story. It follows a young woman who is sold to a geisha house and branded with a large spider tattoo, unleashing a supernatural thirst for vengeance on the men who wronged her, beautifully capturing the dramatic and intense aesthetics of Irezumi.
Bring your own chips or popcorn! 🍿
Entry is free, but you can always support us with a small donation or by purchasing a warm glass of mulled wine, tea, or coffee that we’ll have available for you.
We look forward to seeing you there, debating about tattoos, and getting to know each other better!
Let’s get cozy & talk tattoos!
