More Than Ink: Identity and Art at Nowhereland Tattoo Berlin

In the center of Kreuzberg, far removed from the polished, commercial studios of Mitte, lies Nowhereland Tattoo. Located at Wiener Str. 36, our studio serves as a crossroads for body art that refuses to compromise. We are a safe, queer-friendly, and anti-fascist space where the priority is technical integrity and respect for every individual's identity.

RESIDENT ARTIST: IDENTITY AND TECHNIQUE

Our team of residents forms the backbone of Nowhereland. Each artist brings a distinct technical vision, yet we all share the same work ethic: absolute professionalism without the pretentiousness found in traditional shops.

From dark, experimental styles to fine line and conceptual pieces, our residents are available for both large-scale projects and custom flash. We don't just "do tattoos"; we build long-term relationships with our clients based on trust and artistic vision.

A CONSTANT FLOW: INTERNATIONAL GUEST ARTIST

What keeps Nowhereland evolving is our rotation of Guest Artists. We regularly host tattooers from across the globe, bringing fresh perspectives and techniques to Berlin that are rarely found in a single studio.

If you are looking for a piece from a specific artist traveling through Europe, there’s a high chance they’ll be taking over one of our stations. This makes the studio a dynamic environment where something new is always happening.

Booking Tip: Guest artist slots tend to fill up fast. We recommend checking our Guest Artists section frequently to catch international talent while they are in town.

Beyond the Needle: Tiny Noise and Local Culture

Nowhereland doesn’t close its doors when the last tattoo session ends. We are the home of Tiny Noise, a series of experimental music and noise performances that reinforce our connection to the Berlin underground. We believe a tattoo studio should be an extension of its neighborhood’s culture—and in Kreuzberg, that means noise, art, and resistance.

Safety and Standards at Wiener Str. 36

While our aesthetic is punk and alternative, our standards are anything but. At Nowhereland, we follow strict medical-grade hygiene protocols:

Materials: All equipment is single-use or sterilized according to the highest European standards.

Environment: A judgment-free zone where every body is welcome.

Location: Situated in one of Berlin’s most vibrant areas, easily accessible for anyone seeking an authentic experience.
